What kind of boats will be included in the fleet.

While we are still working on all the details, you can expect to see a range of excellent pre-owned to brand new 2026 Bennington pontoons.

How many times can I go boating per season?

Unlimited

Are there any usage charges?

No. As a member your only additional cost is the fuel you use.

Who can I bring with me?

As long as a member is present, you may bring whomever you would like!

How do you qualify members?

Membership is open to boaters of any skill 21+ years of age who have successfully completed new member orientation and any State certifications required by law. Portage Lakes Boat Club welcomes you no matter your experience.

What safety equipment is onboard?

All boats have required equipment per state guidance including life jackets, a fire extinguisher, a throw cushion, dock lines, fenders, and flares. Boats are checked for this equipment prior to departure.

Is there a membership commitment time frame?

Nope! Join us for as long or as short as you would like.

How do I reserve a boat?

Reservations can be made 24/7 using our online reservation system up to three weeks in advance. Watch how easy! -

Yes. Portage Lakes Boat club provides insurance coverage for all vessels, including third party liability. Members are only responsible for paying the deductible if they damage a boat.
